该机床为生产修磨型、综合性加工硬质合金刀刃具的大型工具磨床，其特点：
　　一、采用开放式数控系统和交流伺服电机，既可采用G代码编程，又可使用刀具软件。(MKW6030A型采用开放式进口数控系统和专用刀具磨削软件)
　　二、立柱采用龙门式的结构，刚性好 磨头主轴同时可安装左右三片不同形状的砂轮，可一次完成圆锥铣刀、圆柱球头铣刀、圆锥球头及端齿，和各种螺旋和直线沟槽刀刃具的加工。
　　三、直线轴采用直线导轨和高精度的滚柱丝杠运动平稳，传动精度高。
　　四、丝杠端部采用复式轴承定位保证了精度。
　　五、旋转轴采用精密蜗轮蜗杆、传动平稳、噪声低、分度精度高。
　　六、配有英国雷尼绍的测头，可对加工的刀具进行检测，提高刀具的加工精度。

It is a larger machine that may machine carbide tool and cutter, which may machining and trimming and grinding and allround machining. The features of machine are as follows:
　　I. Equipped with opening NC system and AC servo motor. Adopting both G codes and cutter software.
　　II. Standing poles equipped with gantry structure which results in good rigidity. Installing threedisc different shape abraser wheels at two ends of grinding axis. Some cutter can be shaped in one time, which includes taper mills, cylinder ball mills, taper ball mills and end teeth cutter, and all shapes of cutters with straight or helix slot.
　　III. Linear axis is equipped with high precision ballscrews and straight slides which result in accurate and stable movement.
　　IV. Doubleentry bearings are equipped at ballscrew ends which improve orientation precision.
　　V. Rotary axis is equipped with high precision worm gears so that low noise, high accurate and stable movement.
　　VI. Equipped with England Renikshaw measurement head which may detect machined cutters, and improving cutter machining precision.
